Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to provide a critical analysis of the topic of project design and implementation, where issues of project design and management knowledge and project management skills have been the main focus. In the process of analysis, the paper provides various aspects like the concept of project, features of project, major characteristics of project and the project life cycle phases. On the other hand, issues on project design and the Logical Framework Approach in project planning are emphasized. Moreover, the paper provides significant information on project management, where issues on project management process, stages/phases of project management, management skills and project management knowledge are discussed. The most important thing to bear in mind is that, the information provided in this paper is useful in any kind of project, and therefore including education projects.

There are two broad management skills which are:
1. Interpersonal intelligence
This is the important aspect for the project manager to have in order to positively facilitate the prosperity of the project at hand. Humans advance through cooperating with one another collectively. We can achieve things that no one individual can accomplish alone. Possessing interpersonal skills is important if one wants to operate effectively in society. If a project manager desires to produce a deliverable that leads to customer delight, then he/she must be sensitive to the concerns and wants of the customers and project team members. Without empathy skills, they may find themselves in an “us-versus-him/her” situation. Without empathy skills, project team simply can not discern what it takes to satisfy customers. One of the key traits of people with good interpersonal skills is their ability to empathize with others. Empathy underlies the Golden Rules: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
