Impacts of narcissistic personality analyzed with a DC character called Joker on it’s causes and consequences of the disorder and its impact on their life.
This paper is intended to develop the understanding of a character’s behaviour and its consequences. This paper will indicate how narcissism impacts an individual’s understanding and social behaviour with other peers. Such paper’s main concepts will be based on the following details such as narcissistic personality disorder, psychosis, impact on the brain, causes and consequences of such aspects. The character for psychological analysis chosen for this is Joker from the movie “The Dark Knight” released in 2008. Joker is known as a DC comics supervillain. He is a clown with a criminal mindset and is a massive manipulator. He is known as the main antagonist in this movie. Batman is trying to catch him. This character is also known for his insanity in the film (Dark Knight,2008). Joker also goes by the name Arthur Fleck. Arthur Fleck was a comedian suffering in finance. He worked as a comedian to help his pregnant wife. However, being a comedian prevented him from bringing not much money back home. So, he decided to help criminals in order to gain money. Mr. Fleck has been bullied, ridiculed and laughed at by society. He was rejected by the whole society (Joker,2019).He went insane due to these factors. Furthermore, this paper will show us how Joker developed narcissistic personality disorder, its root causes, brain effect and society.
