This case study explores how India can integrate Switzerland's long-standing principles of neutrality and proactive multilateral engagement into its foreign strategy to enhance its global trade and diplomatic influence. Drawing on Switzerland's role as a neutral mediator in global conflicts, its advocacy for free trade, and leadership in multilateral organizations, the study outlines how India could emulate these strategies to bolster its trade relationships, diversify its economic partnerships, and position itself as a global mediator. By adopting these Swiss principles, India can not only navigate geopolitical tensions but also increase its influence in shaping the global economic and digital landscape. The study offers actionable recommendations for India to further enhance its foreign policy, focusing on neutrality, multilateralism, and soft power. This approach promises to enhance India's global stature and foster a stable, prosperous international economic order.
