Parental involvement in children's education is a topic of contemporary interest and significance in the line of educational research. Parents are oftentimes regarded as the child's first teachers, and their actions largely influence their children's education and learning. As guardians, guides, and mentors, the parents possess the power to actively support and massively subordinate their children's development as students. The study aimed to investigate the relationship between parents' involvement and the academic performance of the students within the unique context of the University of Cebu at Pardo and Talisay Inc. The research used a correlational approach to determine whether there is a significant relationship between parents' involvement and the student's academic performance. Utilizing the correlational design, relationships between the variables are examined without any of the variables being under the researchers' direct control or manipulation. The results of the study showed that there is a positive correlation between the variables. However, the study also found that some students experience parental pressure, which can have a negative impact on their academic performance. It is recommended that parents find a balance between involvement and pressure to support their children's academic success and inform the development of strategies to promote and enhance positive parenting, both at home and in educational settings, to benefit students' intellectual development.
