The excessive utilization, continual production, and irresponsible disposal of plastic products continue to be one of the leading factors in the deterioration of varying components of our societal routine, in other words, plastic pollution. Suspended Eco-Friendly Greenhouse Lamp (SEGL) aims to reduce the wastage of plastic materials, all within simple and affordable limits, for the general public and the poverty-struck provinces and rural communities where plastic pollution is at one of its highest. This study aims to achieve a healthier ecosystem, an improved socio-economic structure, and the progression of a better human mindset and livelihood, with an innovative product. A quantitative-descriptive research design was utilized in the study. The researchers utilize a researcher-made survey, which applies the 4-Point Likert Scale. The respondents are the teachers, and students from the University of Cebu, Pardo and Talisay, Inc. (UCPT). The finalized data showed that the product is an effective alternative based on its intended factors. From the resulting statistics, and observed data, in terms of the analyzed factors of its function, appeal, sustainability, and benefits it is highly effective. The researchers recommend to the future researchers to conduct more thorough comparisons and research so as to properly prove the effectiveness of the product.

Zusammenfassung der Kapitel (Chapter Summaries)
1. Introduction: This chapter introduces the pervasive problem of plastic pollution, particularly its significant impact on Asian and African nations, including the Philippines. It highlights the country's substantial contribution to global plastic waste. The chapter establishes the context for the research by presenting the SEGL project as a resourceful solution, promoting recycling and pollution reduction. It emphasizes the project's potential to positively impact the environment and the socio-economic conditions of affected communities, aiming for a healthier ecosystem and improved human livelihood.
2. Methods and Materials: This chapter details the research methodology employed. A quantitative-descriptive research design was utilized, involving a researcher-made survey using a 4-Point Likert Scale. The survey was administered to students and teachers at the University of Cebu, Pardo and Talisay, Inc. (UCPT). The chapter thoroughly describes the materials used in constructing the SEGL prototype, including common household items, and outlines the step-by-step procedure for its creation, emphasizing its affordability and ease of replication. The budget for materials is also clearly outlined.
3. Results and Discussions: This chapter presents the findings of the survey conducted on the SEGL. The results indicate high effectiveness in terms of functionality, sustainability, and environmental benefits. While the visual appeal was rated positively, it was noted as being less appealing than a commercial LED light. The chapter analyzes the responses, highlighting the high satisfaction among respondents regarding the SEGL's functionality as an alternative light source. The necessity of an electrical connection is identified as a limitation to the product's environmental impact.
