Visually impaired people are prone to accidents and risks due to loss of sight. The Arduino Uno-equipped smart tool can lessen the accidents by programming the AU to the desired use. This study aims to come up with the solution of innovation using multidisciplinary subjects which is reliable and cost-effective. Descriptive-evaluative research design was utilized in the study. The researchers utilize a researcher-made questionnaire which consists of two parts: profile of the respondents and Likert scale that ranges from 1-4. The respondents of the research were teachers from St. Paul College Foundation Inc., Bulacao Campus. Finalized data resulted and showed that the smart tool for visually impaired using Arduino Uno is effective based on its key factors which are functionality, design and portability, durability and usability. The researchers recommended to the future researchers to broaden their scope of respondent and improve the smart tool for it to be a lot more effective. By that, studies after will show more accurate results.
